BLACKHEATH LADIES DAY

Blackheath Rugby Club held its 6th Ladies Day at their Kidbrook Lane venue with a donation going to SELBCT.

The day was organised by Club Volunteers Lisa Maresca-Harmer and Christine Oliver (also one of SELBCT’s trustees and Treasurer)

After heavy rain showers in the morning the sun eventually came out and we had a lovely warm afternoon.

107 ladies arrived at noon for pre dinner drinks, followed by a three course lunch with lots of fun with some of the 2nd team being the shirtless waiter along with injured first tee players and friends. There  were small fundraisers going on during the lunch and a good time was had by all. You will have to join us next time to find out what all the fun was about. At 2.30pm the ladies then joined another 60 ladies in the Green King Bar where there was a DJ and more drinks and snacks flowing. The evening finished off with the players shirts being auctioned followed by more dancing.

SELBCT would like to thank Blackheath Rugby Club for choosing our charity to support on what was a great fun filled day, and Thank you to everyone who donated, helped out and made the day another good charity event.

Total Money Raised £2895.00 and £202.08 in the buckets.

Special mention Lisa Maresca-Harmer, Susie, Jacquie, Brenda, Sheila, Sam F, Sam C,Georgie, Poppy, Monica, Grace, Daisy, Linda P.
