This year’s Charity Golf Day on Thursday 1st June was a huge success.

The sun was shining when all 85 players arrived for registration and had their full English breakfast and coffee served by Debbie and her team. Breakfast was followed by 18 holes of golf on a great course which of course had up’s and down’s for some. All in all the players said they thoroughly enjoyed their day made even more special by the weather. Golf finished and it was a break in the bar for a beer or orange juice then a one plate meal was served to all that stayed. We then had prize giving, raffle and an auction. It was great to see bigger numbers this year and a few more ladies, long may that continue.
