October is Breast Cancer awareness month, so to mark the occasion for 2013, 216 trustees and guests dressed up for evening and ate drank and danced the night away. This was the third year running our Ball was held at the Metropolitan Police Sports Club in Hayes.

We started the evening with a game of Heads and Tails with the winner enjoying a bottle of champagne with their table. The raffle raised a good amount of money and the auction saw some frantic bidding for some great items.

After a splendid meal and in need of working it off, the dance floor filled up quickly. The music was supplied again by the wonderful live band SLAM, just about everyone managed a little dance.

The evening was closed by MR Anil Desai, Consultant Breast Surgeon who’s comments reminded us all, how much a difference the money raised makes to the lives of the local community living with Breast Cancer.
