VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO TAKE PART IN A STUDY. OCT 2021-APRIL 2022

 
How does our clothing change as our lives and bodies transition through breast reconstruction surgery?
Recollective Threads is a PhD research project, at London College of Fashion, exploring the stories attached to the things that we wear. By building awareness of patient experience the project is developing creative approaches to designing breast cancer services.
We are looking for people to take part in the study by…
Completing a creative activity pack at home.
Attending a 1.5hr focus group (online).
Attending a 2hr creative workshop at London College of Fashion (*covid dependent) – to collectively discuss the design of future breast cancer services. *This workshop will only take place when there is a low risk of Covid-19 Infection or when UK government guidance allows for workshop participants to meet safely in a space, following social distancing measures.
*All activities will occur between Oct 2021 and Apr 2022.
*Travel and postal costs will be reimbursed by the study researcher.
*Sessions will be supported by a Cancer Support Specialist.
