THE PINK BALL
Another great evening was had by over 230 guests at the recent Pink Ball. Again we had a very good 3 course dinner with coffee and mints, followed by a packed dance floor, dancing to ‘Never too Late’ Excellent music for all ages.
The room was brightened up with beautiful orchids provided by Elaine at Pesh Flowers. We had our usual raffle with some extra special prizes this year with a 1st prize of a Swarovski Crystal Ladies Watch donated by Whitten Timber and 2nd prize of a Fortnum and Mason Hamper donated by Sue Twyford along with a further 16 prizes. That was followed by our auction which had 18 items up for grabs there too. The two items that raised the biggest bids were a week’s use of Mel & Darren Norris’s villa in Spain which raised £1,000 and 2 tickets for the England v Australia Rugby match at the beginning of December donated by Stuart Plummer which raised £600.
The trustees would like to thank the following Companies and people for their donations to make this such a great success:- Boots plc, Whitten Timber, Pink Physio, BNI breakfast Club, HAP Electrical’s, Nikki Coffey Design, Paul Foston Golf Academy, Face & Body Clinic Petts Wood, Kate Oxley from Sophitikates Hair, Michael Collins, Tony Idle, Kathy Idle, Linda Reid, Sundridge Park Golf Cub, Ken Thornton, Sir Cliff Richard’s Winery in the Algarve, Mr V Anekwe, Pat Hobden, Paul & Beverley Barsby Photographic Studio, George Proctor’s Shirley Office, Beckenham Quilters, Jacquie Howell, Stuart Plummer, Andy & Michelle Reason, Keith Mouna, The Warren, Lumnis Spa Bromley, Virgin Active Bromley, Emma & Simon Harrison from Minstreal Cafe, Tricia Morten, Sue King, A J Maintenance, Pesh Flowers.
