Angie Jordan
Angie was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma in Situ in June 2008 at the age of 49. She underwent a lumpectomy operation followed by six cycles of chemotherapy and five weeks of radiotherapy as, although the cancer was caught early, it was also detected in her lymph nodes. Her treatment finished in 2015 following seven years of Tamoxifen. Angie has been married to Mike for over 43 years and has a son, a daughter and three young grandchildren. After finishing her treatment, Angie wanted to give something back in aid of breast cancer for the fantastic treatment that she received at Chelsfield Park Hospital and also Guy/St Thomas’s Hospitals. She became a trustee in 2022 and is very enthusiastic in organising fund raising events, particularly if golf is involved!
