SELBCT is very close to my heart, being 5 years down the line from breast cancer diagnosis.  I wanted to raise some money to help women local women with breast cancer. I asked our Management if we could stage a ‘wear it pink day’ and it was approved! The idea was that employees wearing pink would donate £2 and a few of us brought in cakes to sell.

What I didn’t say was that we would be coming around the building with our pink hat and collecting donations from all the non-pinkers too. We all had a laugh at some of the get-ups and raised the fantastic sum of £373. Here are some photos of the day.’
