A number of trustees and volunteers went along to Marks and Spencer Beckenham today for a charity fund raising event. We spent all day helping pack peoples bags and bucket shaking in the store. A few hours and plenty of sore feet later an amazing amount of £802.95 was donated

On Saturday 14th July SELBCT ran a fund raising and information giving stall at the St Mary Cray Festival. The event was well supported by local residents and we were able to chat to a number of women who had concerns about themselves or a relative’s illness.

On Good Friday Blackheath Rugby Club held its 3rd Ladies Day at the Rectory Field with 50% of the proceeds going to our charity. Simon Legg and Richard Windsor both first XV players did a sterling job with the organisation of this event.

On the 13th October Bag packing was offered at Marks & Spencer’s Beckenham. A big thank you to all of our Volunteers who packed the bags and shook the buckets at the weekend and raised £954.25.
